Hello Senseis and Karateka,
We are so pleased to bring you this news of the
1st Isshinryu Symposium and Tournament
We would like to personally invite you to this event which includes a tournament and many seminars on June 10th and 11th, 2016 in Canton, Ohio at Walsh College. This tournament will be held every two years opposite the IWKA World Championships. The seminars will be insightful and exciting and the topics and instructors will be added to the website as soon as they are solidified. They will be presented by highly accomplished Isshinryu practitioners.
Our mission is to bring all Isshinryu practitioners together in one place to learn from each other through informative seminars, to have a chance to judge and compete at a tournament, and to enjoy the camaraderie between us during these two days and ending with an after party at Holiday Inn. So this symposium/tournament is open to all Isshinryu dojos and students. We will celebrate the 60th year since Master Tatsuo Shimabuku created Isshinryu!
