IMPORTANT INFORMATION, RELEASE AND WARNING
The American Isshinryu Inc.,is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote, preserve and develop the practice of the style of karate known as Isshinryu, which was created by Tatsuo Shimabuku. The objective of the American Isshinryu Inc., is to unite the different organizations, associations and / or corporations whose directors are people recognized as practitioners of Isshinryu Karate & Kobudo.
Now, the American Isshinryu Inc., recognizes that there are karartekas who for some reason have lost contact with their Sensei and their progress in rank has been stopped and by this means has adopted requirements and created an evaluation committee to attend to those people who want to pursue a martial career within Isshinryu.
The applicant must be an active member of the American Isshinryu Inc. and have requested to be evaluated by the committee. The contribution for rank is $200.00. The applicant understands that the contribution to the membership to be part of the American Isshniryu Inc. as well as the contribution to be evaluated for rank constitute a donation.
The applicant acknowledges that being accepted as a member of the American Isshinryu Inc. as well as having made the contribution or donation to be evaluated for rank does not oblige the American Isshinryu Inc. to recognize any rank, and for these purposes exempts, resigns and relieves the American Isshinryu Inc, its directors, agents, members and successors in interest of any physical, mental or spiritual damage that may suffered, suffer as a result of the denial.
